I have finally found that there is some hope in this world for true music. Thank God. Avenged Sevenfolds new cd made #1 today on itunes, above all the rap crap, the justin crybeiber, and lady gaga. Metal is out on top like it should be. Im tired of hearing all this whiny bs that pop stars call music. So thank god at least people on itunes are starting to get it right
there really good the talent level in that band is off the charts. there lyrics make sense and are very poetic when it counts. of course "its your fucking nightmare!" isnt very poetic but alot of there songs are like welcome to the family.
And metal is just chillin' at rock bottom, where it hit about 35 years ago.
NO! We'll never fall-- we're the masters of the world! Get up! Let's break those chains now and party all night long!
Weâre a small crowd left to rotten, thereâs not many hard souls left As the pop is growing stronger, will metal fade away? As Iâm tweaking with my radio, thereâs disco everywhere When I turn on my big TV, is hip hop what I want to see?
Will we be broken, will we go down?
NO! Weâll never fall-- weâre the masters of the world! Get up! Letâs break those chains now and party all night long!
Music and lyrics by Sabaton, the #1 band in Europe.
Point is, why do you think there is so many variations of metal? Because it allows for creativity and flexibility. People can play what they want to play in their own way. If the entirety of metal were combined, it would shatter the foundations of any other genre, paling it with tears.
Avenged Sevenfold? Never heard of them. Their genre isn't my thing either; my genre is power metal, where it is the most musical and melodic genre of metal out there.
Now we just wait for something that can be considered proper metal to show up . . . Oh wait. That won't happen. Something to do with fucktards and watered down metal.
The day Raining Blood or Ride the Lightning hits the top, where they rightfully belong, is the day I will declare my life complete.
This is worse for the existence of metal than any pop queer being on top. I'd much prefer Beaver on top as to these wannabes.
I didn't know that they made #1. I think some other bands should've made #1 some other times too but I'm glad that A7X beat out all these other crappy musicians.
