Honestly, it depends if you're on a budget. If you have the money, go for the ps3. If your on a budget, like me, go for xbox 360. Plus, i like the Xbox 360's controllers better. Make your own decision and let me know.

you should only get one if you are intrested in halo because if your not you should go with ps3 so you don't have to pay for online play and if want to to go into content updats and stuff then you should go with the xbox but if you don't mind waiting a bit for things you should go with ps3 cause of the free online play

if your on a budget get an ps3 same price and you don't have to pay to get online idk y you think xbox is for a budgetting person

Most people that have an Xbox360 and a Ps3 use the 360 more. I own a 360 and I have tried the Ps3 and do not like it much.

Well if you have both then you should play 360 more cause you are paying for online play having both is kinda a waste of money

Not going to lie, i was a PS fan until i went to my cousins house. I liked the feel on the Xbox better, but its your preference.
In my opinion i see Xbox having more competitive gamers, no offense, as with PS3 just seem more laxed. And the wii... FAMILY CONSOLE.

I would get the new Xbox slim: built in wifi, 250GB harddrive, and suppose to not get the red ring. Xbox gets my vote.

Agree! I quit 360 even though its fun but online wasn't free they didn't update as much as ps3 so pos3 gets better and better, and now with playsation plus u can get free stuff that are not free for ps plus users. even though I don't have ps plus ps3 is still awesome. It even has avatar maker like the 360 just its called play station home which is fun to meet people who play games that you have that you could play with. So I would say if your into online and community, go with PS3 other than that 360 you can get if you like no one here is going to stop you. 360 is fun but I am now more of a sony playstation 3 guy I grew up with ps2, 360, and now ps3...(ps3 ftw!!)

Ps3 has free online.Yesh. But As djkgb said, playstation plus is around the corner... PLaystation plus is a paid service, which offers extras. So it's like xbox live, but with free matchmaking and less extras.

ps3 has blu ray. So congrats, of you want hd movies, that's fine. Blu rasy is overraed though IMO, hd is just as ok.

Internet browser is cool, however you have to type everything with a dual stick pad. Fun.

While the ps3 has better graphical capabilites, it really comes down to the devs. For example, we'cve all seen good graphics and bad graphics. Good graphics will be good, and bad will be bad. There's no awesome version of awesome, and crappy awesome. Just awesome.

If you have lots of friends with Xbox Live then I would get the 360 to play with your friends. But be warned the quality of 360's is horrid compared to those of PS3's. Our family has been through 6 xbox's and the PS3 hasn't broken once.
The PS3 is the better console if your not going to be playing online with your friends a lot.
