Anybody on here like to fish? I think fishing is okay, not too interesting though. Well not until that bass bites, hard, and your reel him in, and he jumps out of the water, and splashes back in, and you keep reeling him in, and you feel him tugging back, and you almost have him, and then you see him, big and beautiful, you finish reeling him in and your so proud of yourself, then you measure him.

Haha, well I fish quite a lot on the boat, but like I said it's not too fun or interesting. But what do y'all think about fishing?

My favorite part is when you tell a whole story in on long run-on sentence.

I enjoy the sport, the reeling and all is great, and it teaches patience. But I'm a catch and release type person, I hate that the fish drown in the boat, I would prefer to use a small hook and reel them in, then cut them loose.

A couple years ago when I was on vacation in Europe, I went fishing a few times. It was fun but now that I think back it seems uinteresting.

I enjoy it too, but not as often as my dad likes going.
We usually catch and release, but that's because where I live, on the Alabama Georgia border, and we fish on the Chatahoochee river, there aren't many big fish.
Actually that's a lie, there are tons, but we usually catch the smallerish ones, I will upload a picture, maybe, of a bass that I caught.

equivalents of that:
trying to kill a bird by throwing it off a cliff
trying to kill a dolphin with a water gun, underwater.

but anyway i enjoy fishing a lot. where i live there is a lot of carp, and my biggest carp was about 23 inches. i've also caught a 20 in channel catfish tho... theyre pretty nice. for some reason there arent a lot of bass (( i fish at a big river, shallow and fast) but when i go to the state park there are walleye and LOTS of bass :P, rainbow, white, and big/smallmouth.

I like it if its with a couple of buddies, not really an alone thing, it's so boring being alone fishing.

I used to go dipnetting every year on the Kenai and Copper river. Me and my family would catch around 25 salmon over a few days (In those days the limit was 30-40, depending on family size). My main job consisted of hauling my parents' catches up the beach and bleeding them...

It was kind of gruesome.

Fishing for silvers from my neighbor's sailboat was much more fun, cause it mostly consisted of playing poker below deck. But silvers don't taste as good as reds (especially not Copper river reds), so it wasn't as rewarding.

But recently, I don't go out fishing anymore.

I dont go a whole lot (like every day), but I do go a lot. I live here in PdC, Wisconsin so I got the Mississippi river. Bluegill,Catfish,Northern Pikes,Sheepheads,Largemouth Bass,Smallmouth Bass, Crappie(pronounced croppie!!) and a lot more! Really fun when you feel the tug and the weight when your reeling in, but when it comes to seaweed..ohh boy..."I got one!!!"..."Oh dang its just seaweed." Uhg hate seaweed. Other than that fishing is fun!

That does sound kind of gross, what does that entail?
