Anybody on here like to fish? I think fishing is okay, not too interesting though. Well not until that bass bites, hard, and your reel him in, and he jumps out of the water, and splashes back in, and you keep reeling him in, and you feel him tugging back, and you almost have him, and then you see him, big and beautiful, you finish reeling him in and your so proud of yourself, then you measure him.

Haha, well I fish quite a lot on the boat, but like I said it's not too fun or interesting. But what do y'all think about fishing?

Well, you wade out into the water with a giant net. Eventually, a fish will swim into it. Then you flip the net over, and drag it back to the beach.

Then I take said fish from my parents (who caught it), kill it with a bat, then stick a knife in it's gills. Then I carry it up the beach and put it in our bucket.

This was only during "runs". The salmon only run maybe two times a year, so you have to make the most of it. So my parents would delegate these tasks to myself so that they might get maximum time in the water. During peak runs, you pretty much catch a fish as soon you get the net out. But they don't last long.

Awesome that would be cool to try, the net thing, not the bleeding thing.

I like catching the carp, it makes me feel accomplished when I pull something big out of the water, even if it is useless. That just goes to show how bad a fisherman I am.

What he means is that he knew that I didn't really catch that, he knew that I just googled the picture, that I faked it.
@Djkgb Oh your good.

I enjoy fishing a bit. I haven't gone in a while, but most of the time, I'm only able to catch smaller fish, like bluegil.

I haven't been in eight years or so, but I love fishing. I was supposed to go last week before my friend moved, but circumstances made it so I was barely able to say goodbye before he left. I used to fish all the time when I lived in California. We had a very nice boat too.
