A very successful MMORPG is up for sale, the name of that MMORPG is Sacred Seasons. The owner of the game only wants to sell it to someone who will take care of it and help it prosper, and I believe Armor could be one such buyer.
I don't think anyone should buy Sacred Seasons. It's the worst MMO I've ever played.
- It's all played by the mouse (even though using the arrow keys is much faster when traveling) - No hotkeys for the menus. You have to click menu bar at the top instead of easily pressing 'f' for friends. It takes awhile to get used to what button is what menu. - The fighting system is terrible. It's like Mardek, only boring. There's no auto-attack, you usually have to fight 4+ monsters on your own, each taking atleast 3 hits at your level. And there is a low level monster that can one hit you. If you die, you go back to town, and have to do the whole boring dungeon AGAIN. - Sacred Seasons 2 (SS2) uses a gold system. Where do you get gold? You buy it. It uses the Kreds system on Kongregate. Gold is used to buy awesome equipment and stuff. Silver (normal currency) is used to buy junk. Gold takes a long time to get if you aren't using your real life cash. - When you level up, you have a PROBABILITY of getting a stat. - The quests are stupid. Hey stranger! Wanna clean out those skeleton cultists in my cellar? I don't know how they got there, but I don't really care. Hi! My husband is gone. I miss him. Help me find him? Hey, wanna help me plant seeds in locations all over the land? - The town is always crowded (I don't remember a server option when I signed up) and people like to stand on NPCs. - When people talk, it shows in a small chat bar at the bottom. You can't tell who's who without clicking on them. What's the chances you'll find them on a crowded city? - No option to turn off friend requests? I DON'T WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND OKAY? Stop spamming me. No, I don't wanna be in your WePwnSS2 guild either. Oh, now you wanna duel me? Let me try to find you in the city and hope that I find someone that's not 50 levels higher than me. - The map is not very specific. Yes, I know what region of the world I'm on, I just want to find Tommy the NPC. > - You can find Tommy the NPC in the wiki. But that's not very specific either. I don't care if it's a newish game, it's the second one, you'd think you'd do better, huh.
The game sucks. If Armor buys this game, their reputation will probably go down the drain. Here's a link to most of the best comments on Sacred Seasons 2 on Kongregate. Enjoy.
AG will never have any games that require paying, in order to progress. One, it's pointless to have this on a game site for teens. Look at the store! And we all know in the long run it's a waste of money... -.-
Yea these post make a lot of sense, it would make a lot more sense if Kong bought it sense they have like a huge wallet and a multiplayer system already up so all they would have to do is just make the game better.
