I had an idea. Imagine if topics would be arranged by name, views, replies, and last post, much like you could do in an e-mail program. just a thought - Doc in da House
The reason we have it how we do is so topics that where posted in recnrtly stay on the front page, where as less active topics fall back a few pages, this way the most active topic is always easy to find and join in.
I find it better if you could change your preferences. Default is "newest first". if you wanna change how you view threads you could click a tab that sorts them. want to join the most popular thread in that forum just click 'sort by replies'. most viewed, click 'sort by views'. newest/oldest, click the tab for that. this is how the games would work, so it may help the threads a bit.

Lol, Frank. I agree with your 'default' key idea. Many times I want to reread what I've posted so I don't repeat myself unnecessarily. It also helps to see if I'm about to repeat what someone else commented before.
