Or do i spam? I've noticed that i have a higher rank than people who have been here longer than me. Does that mean that I spam? I see some people (no names means no spam no spam means no irony no names also means no hurt feelings) that have been here for a couple of weeks and are in the lord ranks. Spam or activity? You decide.
I'll say a specific name:BloodBath. He's only been here since May and is already wood prince. And he only has 40 posts. So unless all he does is play games on AG 24/7, I really doubt he played all the games he's rated. But he's just an example. Everyone spams, some just do it more.
I agree with skater_kid_who_pwns. Look at me, I was rating and commenting to a lot of games and now I'm a Wood Knight and I sign up much at the 5th month of 2012 I mean 2010.
As long as you play the games and give constructive feedback your good. You are't supposed to talk about certain people its against the rules. But i have a list in my head. :]
Saving, judging from your profile I believe you've just had a lot of forum activity. 2000 AP in 5-6 months? Some people get more than that in one month!
You obviously post a lot. Are your posts meaningful and on topic? If yes, then you don't spam and simply log a lot of activity in less time than most people. If no, then son, you're a spammer. At least some of the time. Seems like a good way to judge it to me.
Take it from me, Savings. I had over 1000 posts before I became Lord. You're about on the right track in activity. Maybe even more. You know what spam is, don't you? Ask yourself: Have you spammed? If you haven't, then nothing to worry about. If you have, then stray away from that path and start anew. Do so, and there will be no questions asked.
I can't say your posts are great. But I can say, they qualify as decent posts enough to make it not spam. You seem to be on the right track like Frank has said.
Don't worry about it. If a mod comes and warns you about it then you know what to do right?
It's basically just people who want AP to show off, and have nothing in their lives to do but rate/comment and watch their AP soar! You have a lot of posts for an Iron Knight. Not surprising, I've seen others with posts near that number, yet they don't spam in their posts.
Floyd hit 2000 at around that point and he spams on purpose. Post count can vary from person to person. My post count was amazingly low at that time (probably about 200 when I hit WL), but more than half of my posts were okay quality posts.

No I've never seen the point system tampered with. You could program a bot that spams ghost accounts with random text. Or a webcrawler to rate games all the games and post random messages like "Good game controls are excellent", "Bad didn't like it".
Your just more active. As long as your not on the top point for the week/month you don't have to worry.
