It's just a coincidence. Fortunately the boy was lucky and there was an ambulance nearby.

Was the kid's name Jason Vorhees? Does he have any plans to start a killing spree at Camp Chrystal Lake? Or did the kid get hit by lightening in the cemetery where Jason was buried and the lightening bolt inadvertently resurrected Jason? 'Cause that stuff happens okay and we need to be ever vigilant of these types of situations.

D: Poor kid. I hope never to be struck by lightning.

The chances are extremely low for anyone to be struck by lightning...
Unless you run around with big metal poles during a storm.
