If you're wondering what the little C?==# in the title is, it's a Guitar, a Les Paul to be exact.
Alright, I kinda thought AG need one of these, so here it is. Your Welcome.
Basicly this is for AG members who love to play Guitar. Here you can get songwriteing help from me or other Members, learn new songs, discuse favorite Bands or Guitarists, or just talk about Guitars in General.
Of course, not just anyone can join (Though, it won't be too exclusive). No, first you'll have to summit a riff, and I or another higher ranked member of the club says it's good enough, we'll leave a message on your profile.
Because other member's abiltys, I do ask that all Riffs be summited in Tabliture or TAB. If you do not know how to use tab please refer to the diagram below... ____________________________________________________________ |--------|<-this is the string closest to the ground |--------| |----0---|<-the "0" indicates strum pick, but don't fret |----2---|<-the "2" indicates that you press down the 2nd |--------| fret on the 4th string |--------|<-this is the string closest to your head
Because the "0" is on top of the "2", you pick them together. ____________________________________________________________ Here's a blank TAB.
I have a eletric-guitar (It's truely my sister's, but she didn't have the 'ower' to play it)... And I do know, that for the beginners it would be easier to start with a acoustic one. I have borrowed few guitar books from the Public library, but their not really helping me... I don't really even know how to play anything, but I really would like to play 'Paint it Black'...
I don't even know the notes yet >__< It's so much easier to play a piano or the electric organs...
Hey! my school also has a guitar class, 'cept stupid guidance gypped us out by switching class periods, so im not in it anymore or else im out of honors physics but a year in a serious class will teach you the very basics, but hopefully your teacher, like mine, breaks up the groups into 4 sections for arrangement; each is as important as the other, but they vary for skill levels.
Wow, my school's classes suck. There's only 2 languages, Spanish and latin, I want to learn German =(. And I didn't even get into Comp. programing, I'm mad ~>=(.
Spanish and French for me... Comp. programming in school is about as useful to you as typing class (now I assume you can type well if you have 401 post as of right now...guitarist are known to type better then most) Anyway another good song for guitar is California Eagles!
