So anyway, who agrees that the the Patriots are the most hated teams in the NFL?
I think they're tied with the Colts. Colts are hated because about 85% of their fans are people who jumped on the bandwagon in 20001, same with Patriots fans. I hate both of these teams equally because everyone who plays under Belichick in New England thinks they're God, *coughTomBradycough* and I hate the Colts because their so-called fans started talking sh*t to us Jet fans because they're apparently better than us. I lol'd because they suck without Manning.
Jets are second most hated by the league thanks to Rex Ryan and Hard Knocks. One ESPN columnist went as far as calling Mark Sanchez arrogant. Once again, I lol'd. Mark Sanchez is nowhere near arrogant. In fact, if he were considered a bust, he would be the first person to realize it. He doesn't even think of himself as "good"
Of course they're better than us. Manning is arguably one of the top 3 greatest quarterbacks of all time. He knows defenses and changes plays. His ego is huge though.
... And people need to give Sanchez a lot of time to develop. Last night's game showed me he knew the system by calling plays. He set up both of Mark Brunell's TD passes.
Hey man, if anybody's got an ego, it's Sanchez. He carries on the spirit of Joe Namath, posing nude and casting chest shots to every magazine that will let him. I don't think he'll ever sell woman's underwaer like Broadway Joe did, but who knows. Hey, let's change the pace and talk about Eli Manning, you know, the younger Manning who really has an ego?
