I was wondering which Final Fantasy Tactics game is better, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions (ps1, PSP<-remake), Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (GBA), or Final Fantasy Tactics A2 (Advance 2): Grimoire of the Rift (DS)?
War of the Lions gets 9.4/10 while the one on the gba and the one on the DS gets 6.2/10. The first game actually had a purpose. I don't know how else to explain it except Tactics 1 was pure tactics. Even the story was about deception, betrayal, diplomacy, all that good stuff. The story, the gameplay, the art, all tactics.
Now, it's all just kid crap. Turn around, creator, for about 10-15 years, and do it all over again.
I haven't played the GBA one or the DS one yet (I plan on buying one of them soon), but so far, I think the remake for the PSP (pretty much the first one with more classes and stuff added) is EPIC! The story is amazing, the graphics look great (I like little sprites :P), and the tactics, are, well, tactical (I'm not always that good at them though).
