This is a sci-fi RPG. I'm planning on making it a hard one, where teamwork and not doing stupid stuff is important.
Backstory: You're a citizen of the planet Liloth. The main goverment's the United Galactic Proleteriats (UGP)--which contrary to its name, is in fact a dicatorship. In response to this, as well as high taxes, massacres, genocide, etc, of the outer planets, the Seraphim Confederation (SC) was formed--another government, but not yet ready to officialy declare sovereignty. At this time, someone assassinated the UGP magistrate of Liloth, prompting a retaliatory attack by the UGP. The SC was formed shortly thereafter, and a distress signal was sent...you stayed behind to evacuate the population.
Make the bio as detailed as possible please, so I can give you the respective stat advantages. Skills are not accessible yet.
I'll be taking a lot of players, and starting once 4-5 are here. Everyone else will be introduced shortly afterward, after the first segment's done.
A note about skills: they aren't skills you *use* (though they might come in later); they're sorta like tech/knowledge levels. If your bio says you were an electrician, then you'll get a boost to anything that involves electricity, such as ion tech. Be too vague, and you don't get a bonus.
If you want to know the skill tree, ask me...it's sci-fi, so sci-fi tech is in there
There are no classes; you specialize as you level up and put points into skills. Please, don't everyone spec into the same thing, or you'll end up losing.
Character sheet: Name: Antigone Level: 1 Age: 21 Bio: The origins of Antigone are shrouded in mystery. Her father gouged his eyes out when she was very young, so she became the leader for both her little sister, her brothers, and her father. However, after her father died, her two brothers went to war over his inheritance. In the course of the war, both her brothers died. During the course of the war, she served as a kind of median between the two brothers, and so became good with weapons in the process. But when she stood up for one of the dead brothers' rights to burial, she was banished. And yes, this is srsly a Greek myth. HP: 650/650 Energy: 650/650 Skills: Inventory: Equipment: AK-47[30 damage/5 shots per burst/60% accuracy]
OK...one of us will spray wide suppressive fire around the human soldiers, just to make them duck their heads or move(if we're really lucky it might hit) and then the other person can take a headshot at the leader.
You take out one of the infantry, but there's still no clear path to the one with the rocket. The commander calls in an airdrop for the one with the rocket--currently floating down on a parachute towards them.

We both aim for the rocket. When it gets close to them, fire simultaneously at it in an attempt to set it off. Is this just going to be waves of enemies or will there be objectives or something?
This is the last wave, objective is to take out their commander so evac can come.
You hit the rocket. It appears to have been a plasma rocket that time, given by the enormous, colored explosion it makes. Apparently their commander is not very pleased at having 2 squads blown up. He pulls out a rifle, and shoots...Carn.
You've been incapacitated--it's like death, but you can be revived later on by a medic. Currently, you've gotta wait for the mission to end.
After seeing Carn getting shot, you all move away from the front of the bunker. His rifle is a laser sniper rifle, and takes a large amount of time to recharge between shots. He has light armor on, but a powerful shield.
Remember, you all have a bayonet for your AK-47, which bypasses shields. Also, update your sheet--it's 13 damage/11 shots.
Name: Carn Livingstone Level:1 Age:20 Bio: Apprentice Blacksmith in the forges of the SC. Carn descends from a former noble house having gone bankrupt, and his parents insisted that he still had a short basic education in science and fencing. He is calm most of the time, but can get choleric from time to time. HP: 650/650 Energy: 650/650 Skills: - Inventory: - Equipment: AK-47 [30 damage/10 shots per burst/65% accuracy]
Could you tell me what is actually in my range with the scope? If the one with the rocket and the airdrop aren't, I get on with headshooting the infantrists to clear a way to the rocket. If the airdrop is, I join in hyper's fire.

Ouchy... well, hypermnestra, feel free to use my AK with scope if you need it

Move forward-take cover when he's charged up-repeat until reach the leader-take cover-stab him with the bayonet-shoot in the head to finish him off.
You reach the leader, and try to stab him with your bayonet, but he dodges it and takes out an energy dagger, stabbing you and incapacitating you.
Down to 2 people, which is near the minimum you need to finish this mission...you just needed a second person, as he couldn't handle 2 guys rushing him at once.

But there's nobody else, is there? I would've gone with other people if there were any who weren't incapacitated.
Ok, so since nothing's happening anymore, I take the freedom to propose (since I'm not in charge of them, mind you) that loco and sirnoobalot shoot at the leader while he is still distracted after incapacitating hyper. That should take him out, and after that they can shoot down the remaining humans. We have the bunker, so the remaining humans shouldn't be a big threat.
