I'm totally fine with AG advertising web games on the front page. I'm sure it brings in much needed revenue, and it can be seen as a service to the players (who knows? maybe some players have found some really fun online games this way).
My objection is the rating below the game, which is always a 10/10. I don't know what the purpose of this is, but it comes off as deceptive. The rating system on AG is a terrific way for players to see how the AG community feels about a game before ever playing it. And while some games don't get the rating they deserve, almost any highly rated game is bound to be pretty fun. Advertising these game is one things, but essentially giving them the AG community seal of approval is something else entirely. Even the best games like Sonny and Fancy Pants don't have a perfect 10/10, so why should these online games?
So, either: a) Let AG players actually rate these games, or b) just remove the rating from the game.
I think (a) would be hard to implement, since many of these games have their own connection portals and whatnot. Plus, many of them are too complex for our rating system to really be that effective. Which is why I suggest (b). I seriously doubt that losing the fake rating will affect how much the game is played. And if it does, I would assume it's because people are duped by the 10/10 rating. And nobody wants that.
