Holy dudes its me again. But of course you don't remember me, unless your some insane regular here who remembers random people from a few years ago. Anyway, lets get with the RPG and less of my horrible introductions.

A single battle, based on WWI, you will be taking the role of the English/French battling the Germans.
To apply, select and fill in the appropriate sections of one of the classes below. Areas shown in [] are for you to fill out.
Pfft, since no on else seems interested as of yet, I'll start with you anyways.
Private Brown Location: Front-line trench Date, Time: January 8th 1915, 0730 You look down at your shoes as you hit another bump in the road. You're in the back of a truck, seated tightly between 15 or so other soldiers making their way up to front line trenches. Your Ross Rifle is pointed upwards in front of you, its stock resting on the ground. You feel the truck come to a halt, and you look out through the back as people start to slowly walk out. You clamber out, and follow the rest of the soldiers down into a trench. An officer walks with you and guides groups of ten into rooms dug out into the ground. You're in the second group and make your way to the bottom bunk on your immediate left as you come in. You unpack and lie down on the cold mattress, closing your eyes for a bit of rest.
"WAKE UP PRIVATES! NO TIME TO REST IN A MOTHER FRIGGIN WAR! YOU SWORE TO SERVE AND GODDAMNIT YOU SHALL SERVE" Your eyes pop open at the disturbance and you jump to life, narrowly missing the bottom of the top bunk with you head. You salute as your Staff Sergeant inspects your group. "You! You're name soldier?" "Private Brown, sir" "Private Brown. You just won the lottery, you're up for night patrol. Get your ass out there and make sure no Jerrys sneak there way into our trenches." You groan for a second before recollecting yourself. "Yessir." You walk out to a small outpost with your rifle and equipment. You place a bayonet on your rifle and place it under your chin to keep yourself from falling asleep... Hours pass before anything actually happens. You hear scrambling and muttering. You hear the sound of metal on earth. Two scenarios come to mind, its our Engineers, digging further trenches to create cover for our troops, or its Germans, planting mines on our "half" of No Mans Land. You have a hard decision ahead of you: A. Throw out a red flare to light the area up and make the people working there vulnerable. B. Leave the sounds alone. C. Wake up your officer and report to him of the noises.
Sorry locoace and AKGuy, first come first serve for the first three people :/ Yeah I'm pretty ancient, I haven't signed into Armor Games for at least a year and a half, and before that month of activity there was another years gap to when I first started playing.
@The rest of the guys, I'll give you your scenarios tomorrow morning
Argh, okay, I've had too much to do all day until now. Sorry about the delay
I also recommend you read each other's stories, they often intertwine as you'll see. Also feel free to add any other details to your choices, as long as they're appropriate.
Private Brown You rush over to your sergeants quarters. You knock on the door and are surprised when you hear an answer. "Come in." You walk in to find him throwing a collection of knives into a wall. "I can't sleep with this constant artilerry fire. I take up my time however I can. What do you need Private?" "I'm hearing noises from No-Mans-Land sir, did we have any engineers scheduled to be out there today?" He ponders for a second. "No. Definitely not. You go ahead and toss a flare, we need to know where they are before it's too late. Gather any troops you can before you throw it though, you need some backup. I'll wake up the other Sergeant." You run back, shouting at rooms to wake up and dragging another Private on patrol with you. "Hey you! Yeah you, name?" "Private Carter. Why?" "Come with me, possible enemy presence near our lines." You both hurry to the spot where you heard them. You can hear the Sergeant starting to wake the others up. You chuck a flare over. No surpise, you see ten German's digging into the ground and planting barbed wire. You shout, "ENEMY GERMAAANS! WAKE UP PEOPLE! WE HAVE ENEMY PRESENCE!" The Germans, stunned, look around a while before their apparent leader shouts in German. You guess it meant charge, because sure enough they start charging. There isn't much distance to cover, and your Ross Rifle's on the floor... A. Pick your rifle up and try to snipe them. B. Hide behind the trench and ready your dagger. C. Grab Carter's Lee-Enfield from his hands and use that D. Run back to your room, and wait for backup.
Private Carter Location: Front-line trenches Date, Time: January 8th 1915, 0733 You hear the approaching engine of a truck. Looking out of the trench, you see a truck come in with a new batch of troops. You've already been fighting in the trenches for four days, and not liking it. Your used to a hygienic lifestyle, and living in a room made out of mud isn't the most hygienic area. You help guide the new troops into their rooms before wandering off into your own room. You grab your Lee-Enfield from off your bed and start to inspect it, and grab an already dirty cloth from a table and begin to polish it. The last thing you want in a war is a jammed rifle. "Hey Carter. Wanna play some cards? I just finished my patrol shift" "Ugh, sure whatever." Your friend Jimmy likes his cards, and beats you nearly all the time. You play with him to kill the time anyway. You eat your meager amount of rations afterwards before your Sergeant signs you up for night patrol. Luckily, you get to patrol the trenches rather than stand in the same place all night. You walk past a man running at speed past you, and in a few minutes he comes back rushing towards you. He asks you your name and asks you to come with. Apparently some Germans are there. You run with, suddenly awake with energy. The Private tosses a flare, and you see ten or so Germans working hard to undermine your defensive efforts. You also catch more Germans to their right, hiding in the shadows but a few of them with light glinting off their guns. The Germans begin charging at you, and you have to make a decision fast. A. Start firing upon the ones closest to the trench. B. Hide against the trench and surprise them when they come down. C. Run back and call for assistance. D. Chuck a frag E. [Your own option, as long as your capable of it]
Private Samuels Location: Secondary Trenches Date, Time: January 9th 1915, 0100 At this time, your sleeping, and nightmares that you haven't seen you in years haunt you as horrible encounters from the last few days terrorise your mind. The monsters in your dream start shouting, and it gets louder and louder 'til it's almost unbearable. Your shaken awake and you realise the shouting is actually your Staff Sergeant. "GET UP! We have an enemy encounter at OUR trenches. Get the fruit up you bunch of women!" Your used to this sort of thing, and quickly recover from the dream. You get up and at the same time snatch your shotgun with one hand and your helmet with the other. As you run out the door, you sling your pack on to your back and run to where everyone else is. It's not long when you hear a shot from behind. By the cries of surprise, you guess this isn't the enemies you were going towards, there was backup! You quickly swivel around and see the Germans rushing towards you through the trench, mowing down soldiers with their clubs like they were killing oversized flys with a flyswatter. A. Get down on one knee and ready your shotgun B. Climb out the trench and get behind the Germans as discreetly as possible C. Try to run backwards away from the Germans towards your original destination. D. [Your own choice]
Okay, might as well wait for the last response since I've interwoven two of your stories closely. I'll send him a message. It's getting late where I am and I'm on my iPod so I'll reply tomorrow.
