I think we can compare the two. Who knows? Maybe in another thousand years, Christianity, Islam, etc. will all be school subjects, sort of like Greek Mythology is?
Is it possible that religion changes drastically over the times?
You flagged the post because you disagreed with it?
Nah, I don't think it was flagged. However if you copy over the icon on accident it shows up as Flag in your quote, just like if you accidentally copy over the icon for a player's rank, like this:
There's nothing to lose in believing in something.
I wouldn't go that far. But I suppose it depends on your definition of 'belief' and what that entails, as well.
For instance, several political leaders in Uganda believe certain things about homosexuality and therefore have created an anti- homosexuality bill which is soon to put homosexuals to death.
I think that certain beliefs are very dangerous. In my opinion, you shouldn't give belief to something that you do not analyze, study, understand, doubt, etc.

Don't forget about the belief in Africa that having sex with a virgin will cure AIDS which has led to the kidnapping and r@pe of countless girls, many as young as 10 years old. That seems like a really dangerous belief to me, and illustrates what can happen when superstitions are allowed to replace science and education.
Note:I am a Christian, but am open to talk in this kind of topics.
Yes, I have actually thought of this... I never knew someone would be making this as a thread. What are the odds???
I have thought of this quite carefully. This kind of topics are (if God exist) too much for our mind to understand. Hmmm...
I do believe that there is one major difference within the two. Greeks invented Greek mythology/Greek Gods. Jesus was the son of God.
So basically Greeks introduced Greek mythology while Jesus introduced well, Christianity.
Now, what about the miracles of Jesus? I really don't know. I am in question, and my faith, I have been thinking to go to a priest lately to help me strengthen my faith.

I would suggest going to someone without an agenda. If you are questioning your faith then that's logic and reason trying to override superstition. Of course, if you want to believe in superstition then that's all well and good too, but if you're questioning anything really, I find it better to get opposing viewpoints, not affirmation of the view point you are questioning.

Hercules was the son of Zeus, that doesn't mean jack on if it was made up or not.

Yeah totally different... >_>

Don't just follow what your priest says, think for yourself. Also if you haven't already set aside some time each day to read through the Bible.
So are you agreeing with my statement, because that is what i understand from your reply.
I also said "I will quote this, meaning that probably people will say the same thing in the future, about the current god as you did about the Greeks/romans
