Well, the topic. Maybe ArmorGames can make its own radio, (Accessed by Internet of course) which can be heard by anyone.

How will this work?

When someone enters the site, not necessarily a member, in almost every page, there will be a link, which will say: click here to be connected with the radio. Then the user turns on his speakers and listens.

What will this radio play?

It can play anything. From music to announcing Ag's problems.

Will there be any schedule for it?

Of course. In the link there will also be a timetable, stating what is on every hour.

Will it be based somewhere?

Sure. Maybe AG can rent a building for this or base it on the administration building or something.

Who will be responsible?

Maybe Daniel Mc Neely, Carlie, or generally an administrator or moderator or even all the administrators decide together or...anything, i don't know.

Who will choose the programs that will be on?

For this there can be 2 solutions.

1: A new category can be made in AG where in the thread users decide what can be on, or generally suggest and the one who is responsible decides from the best suggestions. Suggestions can be ANYTHING that can be played.

2: The person who is responsible solely decides for this.

How will it be funded if we rent a building?

Maybe users can, IF THEY VOLUNTEER pay a certain amount of money and "mail" it to the AG. These money will also go to the site maintenance. In return, these users will enjoy some more luxuries like, they will be able to choose the programs that can be played or they will have their own category accessible only by them.

Generally this is the idea. It can even have entertainment hours where maybe music like rock or pop, will be on. If there is any technical problem, i believe it can be solved.

Just like GameStop helped Kongregate. Armor Games is better than Kongregate! We should have the money!

no triple post and there are many ways to generate money. I am sure that AG, as its a good site, will find a way.

Maybe we can do this ourselves eh? And try to contain all your posts to one comment. That is called spam, what you did above.

Armor Games does need to generate more money, maybe if a bigger company such as IGN agrees to cooperate but keep the site the same

Dan already made it clear that they want to not be bought up by another company at this point.

To be honest there are a few issues with this idea. First off if you want it to work it would have to be internet radio of some kind specially made for AG users, which would probably require them to go out of their ways to signed deals with record companies and it would probably be only available in America like the way Pandora is. If they used an FM radio it would only be available as a local station to people in their area, and AM station tend to be pretty shotty as music stations, so this idea is basically made to fail even if it was otherwise a good idea to begin with.

Thanks for being so optimistic. It would be easy to determine what music should be played with a simple survey. Getting record companies to agree is not that hard, since we are pretty much advertising their music.

Well, why you have to sign deals with record companies?

So they don't get mad at you for distributing their music I think.

AG can make their own music! We just get a program that can do that.

:I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you have to pay rights and sign deals only to play a CD? Ever since when is it considered distributing music?

Thats a pretty good idea.

since when is it considered distributing music?

Since I'm sharing it with people who didn't play for it.

This is a gaming site, not really a radio site...

Well, some people don't like the ingame music, so maybe just listen to your Ag radio while playing?

They can use Fruity Loops to make the music, and between each song they leak some information and updates ect...

Well, Ag is MOSTLY a games site but it is "in" every subject. And besides, this Radio will not only play music. It will also inform about other stuff like what game has recently rose in plays and is considered popular. And Protofai, i know no radio station which needs authorization to play its music (Not saying that Ag will have a whole radio station. like i said it is going to be accessible by PC ONLY. No AM's or FM'S).

Do you think it would we cool if we also interview the Armor Games Developers such as Krin? They could talk about their upcoming games.
