Well, books in my health class say the meaing of life, but i think theyre too vague, besides, what does a book know!?!Phhst!!! Well, yeah I don't worship a health book.
Meaning of life? There is no objective meaning to our lives. We aren't 'special', we aren't important in the grand scheme of the cosmos. We are born, we live our lives however we choose, we die, and our bodies assist in perpetuating the lives of other creatures on this planet.
The meaning that our life has is purely subjective. We do impact others from time to time. We create memories, and impart memories to those who we experience life with and to those people we do have some sort of meaning, whatever meaning they ascribe to their experiences of us.
Personally I strive make sure that the people who remember me, the people I experience life closely with, have fond memories of me, that they enjoy my company and remember me as a kind, honest, caring person. I try to be a good friend to as many as I can and in that way I hope that those around my attribute good things to their memories of me.
I think that if everyone approached life with this concept of themselves and their place in the universe I feel that the lives of everyone would be greatly enriched.
