I'm already to old to get excited about my birthday, and I'm seventeen.

Yeah it seems like every year birthdays become less important to me.

It's because my birthday is in August, which is the last month of a school term, so almost all of my friends are seventeen before me, which makes my birthday somewhat unimportant.

too old*

I don't think you can ever get too old to celebrate your birthday, you may forget about your birthday, and you may not have parties, but that doesn't stop YOU from celebrating. It does, though, become less important to others as you get older, having birthday parties every decade instead of year.

Hell, if you live to be 100 years old why WOULDN'T you and everyone celebrate your birthday!!

I'm going with KingLemon's opinion. A birthday is more sacred than Christmas, because you only get so many before you die. Celebrate every single year with ecstasy, so you can build as many memories as you can.

I also celebrate the Autumn season, because that's where I'm at my highest in terms of spirit.

I don't really mind birthdays anymore. I celebrate whenever I can and want to.

It's really about the air and atmosphere of the Autumn weather. It's not anything erotic. I breathe in the air and I just feel good inside. It's something I can't feel with the other seasons.

Back to the birthday part, I think the highest age I celebrated myself was ~90. That was something right there.

Feeling good is fine but that doesn't have anything to do with spirit.

Sure it does! Spirit as in being active, cheerful, and happy. I feel this way in Autumn and nowhere happier in the other three seasons. I don't know why but I do.

Okay thanx for clarifying on what you meant by spirit.

Your profile begs to differ.

Well my birthdays usually occupy the same time as my midterms, fun.
