Alright, a basic story intro, then on to the rules! Text wall, so beware! I'll try to make it as fun as possible.

When he brought the screen up, he began to see numbers scroll down the page. I.D. numbers, to be precise, each one about 6 or 8 digits.
"Good. They are here. This should be interesting..."

As the people began to regain conciousness, they took a look at their surroundings: Bleak and grey, like the inside of a castle. The walls were a gray stone of some sort, but unidentifiable, and they glowed with an inner light, giving the room an eerie light to it. One wall didn't glow like the others, however, like it was made of something else. On the opposing wall was a arge wodden door, with iron decorations that looked like they were burned into the wood, giving an odd glow of black burnt wood that made the decorations all the more fearful.g Not all of the people regained conciousness at once, though. It was like a ripple: First, a few, then more and more.
Once most of the people were awake, there was the sound of a click, then a high-pitched whine, and an image appeared on the wall, which turned out to be a huge television, like the one in Times Square in New York. A man's face appeared, wearing what appeared to be a mask. He wore a rather plain mask, where one side was white, and the other was black. There were no eyeholes, and it covered the entirety of his face.
"Greetings, my fellow fighters, and welcome to your new lives! You have been chosen from all walks of life in the most exciting battle this world has ever seen! This is a battle of wits, strength, courage, dexterity, cunning, and skill! This is... The Castle!
"Your goal in this gladiator battle is to be the first one to reach the front gate of this castle from where you stand right now. To do that, you will have to travel through the castle's levels, avoiding traps, pitfalls, and other obstacles! Team up if you wish, or go alone, but there can only be one of you who takes the title, and can go through the gate!
"I will alert you when it is time to begin, when everyone joins us. Plan for the future, because for all but one of you, this will be the rest of yours!"
The man laughed, and the television turned off. A pause, and then people began to panic. Some were huddled up in groups, some ran around in a frenzy. And some took it rather well, talking to others, planning on what they should do when they get out. And the ones who were unconcious began to stir from the commotion...

Now, your turn! Make yourself a character!
Name: (as well as Male or Female) Age: Occupation: Items: (none) Lvl: 1 HP: 10/10 Str: 2 (strength) Dex: 2 (Dexterity) Spd: 2 (Speed) Acc: 2 (Accuracy) Luc: 1 (Luck)
I need this to be posted every time you make a post, otherwise, I cant help you out, and I can't keep track of everything.
Now, I'll let you know when I'm gonna cut off the listings, but as many people as possible can join. Everybody make a character! I'll let you know when I can't handle it. lol have fun!
cool! we got one! and in case you were wondering, this was what I was going to do with my other one, for those of you who were going to do my other one. Welcome, my good man!
That's two! and also, as a heads up, it pays to be creative with your occupation. Just because you are a swat or police officer or superhero doesn't mean you can't get defeated by an accountant or an artist. lol creativity for the win!
Name: Reznov (M) Age:21 Occupation: Apple Farmer (NOM NOM NOM)- Was eating apple at the time I wrote this xD Items: (none) Lvl: 1 HP: 10/10 Str: 2 (strength) Dex: 2 (Dexterity) Spd: 2 (Speed) Acc: 2 (Accuracy) Luc: 1 (Luck)
8's good for right now, if you want me to start. Anyone else who wants to join, just make a character and I'll work you into the story somehow. This should be interesting... wall of text, I'm sure.
Also, just to check, I'm gonna put everybody's character once:
Name: Reznov (M) Age:21 Occupation: Apple Farmer (I like, I like) Items: (none) Lvl: 1 HP: 10/10 Str: 2 Dex: 2 Spd: 2 Acc: 2 Luc: 1
Name: James Brown (M) Age:25 Occupationancing Hippopotomus (lol really? well, why not, I guess... I can work with it) Items: (none) Lvl: 1 HP: 10/10 Str: 2 Dex: 2 Spd: 2 Acc: 2 Luc: 1
It'll be interesting at the begining, but I think that it'll get easier later. I'll do the usual: Go with each character on their own path through the castle. However, there may be events that can lead to the death of a character. Until the game is won, that means you can't make another character! The horror! D: Still wanna play?
...
As everyone began to stir and awaken, the giant television turned on to reveal their host.
"Now that everyone is awake," he proclaimed, "I will open the doors! there will be a series of rooms, corridors, and other such revells that you would find as you continue going down. It will be up to you to figure out which is the right path!
"Oh, and one more thing: If there is anything that can be used as a weapon throughout the castle, feel free to use it!"
And with that, the television clicked off, leaving a brief silence in it's wake. Then a loud click, and the large doors began to open. The ones who were closest to the door immediately exited, running as fast as possible. Some stayed behind with other groups to make plans, and some were still huddled in the corners, shaking like leaves in the wind...

Phillip
As you finally wake up, you hear someone next to you, whispering harshly, with a tone of worry in his voice:
"Hey, buddy! Wake up, man!"
When you finally came to, you look to see a small man, slightly overweight and bald, with thin circular glasses, like George Castanza from Seinfeld.
"Hey, buddy, I don't know who I should trust, so I was wondering... Could I go with you?"
Before you could protest the idea, he began to shake your hand and hug you, profusely spouting "thank you"'s and the like.
"Alright, buddy, now I've got a plan that'll get BOTH of us to the gates. You trust me, I'll trust you, got it?" You nod politely. "Good, now let's go."
...
Everyone Else
You look around your surroundings, and try to see if there's anything you can do for some of the people. Once you realize there's nothing you can do, you head through the doors.
...
Once you all are out of the room, you come across 3 hallways: one to the right, and two in front of you, one on the left, and one in the middle. The room you're in has a few suits of armor, but they look worn and in bad need of repair. Torches line the walls, some lit, some not.
