I want to say that threads the are becoming incredibly boring. They were already boring when I got here, but things have just gone even more downhill.

I am not making another thread complaining the about bad threads, and the lack of active users. We have enough of those least at I think we do.

Instead but this thread is to brainstorm ideas for making this place less boring, and less annoying. There is, at least think I, too much trash to sift through.

So my idea that is we should make somebody that wants to make a thread have to ask for permission. If they had to get permission there would be less stupid threads. I know this would only work if there was a mod on the all time. But maybe isn't that the case. If the mods used this process they wouldn't have to lock as many threads. But they would have to pay more attention to their comments.

It's really just a trade. Same amount of work for the mods. But more fun for users the. Nobody cares about the mods anyways.

I'm still working on my English, but I believe that I have gotten it all under control. Thank you for support your.

This should probably be in Supports and Suggestions, either way, I think this would be a bad idea. Every time a user wanted to make a thread, a mod would need to allow it? Yeah, like that would ever happen.

Nobody cares about

Now who nailed that idea into your head? All of us care about the mods, except for the trolls and spammers perhaps, the mods make sure the forums are tidy, and make sure that trolls and spammers are banned, also they hand out merits.

I respect the mods and I am sure there are others who do to. I am guessing they were made mods for a reason.

Not the most likely of ideas, but it could probably work.

...And I think this is the wrong section.

No I don't want to have to ask someone if I can make a thread. What if my thread idea is great but I can't make the thread just because a mod doesn't like it. It would be giving to much power to the mods.

This place is a monarchy. Deal with it.

I didn't say they weren't respected, I just said that people don't really genuinely care about the mods.

Power hungry beast.

It would work, if the mods decided to put this into action. But everybody is scared of change...

The mods don't like spam, trolls or any of the like. The mods like things that strike up conversation. I'm more than positive that the mods wouldn't stop you from doing something because they didn't like it. Only if it was against the rules.
I think this is a great idea. Every time a user wanted to make a thread, a mod would need to allow it!

Fixed.

You would willingly give your freedom to create threads as you see fit (as long as they don't break the rules.) to a moderator thus giving them virtualy all control of this website.

Moderators have control over locking and deleting threads, so why give them control over a user that wants to POST a thread? Is that not enough power for a mod?

The moederators have enough power to get there job done and that is slaying trolls and destroying spammers.

Some of us are active in the morning and then come on later. Threads are going down cause of lack of ideas and I think cause Ernie isn't active giving good opinions in them to keep them going.

I do. We NEED mods. If there is no mod here. This place will be SpammerGames. You can say they don't like you by them banning you. But that's wrong. They are doing what they can for this site.

You may think threads are horrible. But others can think that threads are great. It's called an opinion.
So my idea that is we should make somebody that wants to make a thread have to ask for permission.

That is just not necessary.

Also, if you think that the threads are becoming incredibly boring and going even more downhill, why are you even still here?
