I want to say that threads the are becoming incredibly boring. They were already boring when I got here, but things have just gone even more downhill.

I am not making another thread complaining the about bad threads, and the lack of active users. We have enough of those least at I think we do.

Instead but this thread is to brainstorm ideas for making this place less boring, and less annoying. There is, at least think I, too much trash to sift through.

So my idea that is we should make somebody that wants to make a thread have to ask for permission. If they had to get permission there would be less stupid threads. I know this would only work if there was a mod on the all time. But maybe isn't that the case. If the mods used this process they wouldn't have to lock as many threads. But they would have to pay more attention to their comments.

It's really just a trade. Same amount of work for the mods. But more fun for users the. Nobody cares about the mods anyways.

I'm still working on my English, but I believe that I have gotten it all under control. Thank you for support your.

So let me get this straight:
So my idea that is we should make somebody that wants to make a thread have to ask for permission.

Nobody cares about the mods anyways.
So you want to give the mods extra work without giving them due credit or respect? Come on dude. I gave you respect when no others would when you joined. The least you could do is give the same to those that maintain order around here!

Not only that, but:
Instead but this thread is to brainstorm ideas for making this place less boring, and less annoying.
Asking for permission to make a thread will cut down on threads made, which is a catalyst for making places boring. I encourage threads to be made; with threads, comes activity. This stimulates posting activity, therefore traffic.

If you want to be a leader and promote activity within AG, make some threads. Any thread. If it gets locked in the future or dies out, so what? At least you gave users a reason to come to AG everyday!

If you take away moderators, you end up with a pile of crap. Also, this is an internet forum. Free conversation (as permissible by regulations) is what forums are for. I think having every thread be subject to approval would kind of be pointless and time wasting.

Mods aren't paid, it's volunteer work.

Mod-ship is only given to those trusted by the administration.

Mini-mods have been ruled out long ago.

This would just mean less threads to reply to. Nothing is provoking them to make it 'better' when they don't know what 'better' IS.

Same amount of work for the mods

Not every thread becomes locked after creation, they just die.
