i sidestepped at his lunge an went for his spear though i didn't do much as it was thick wood i then jumped and lunged at him though my lack of shield caused him to stab into my armor it saved my life for the most part but it impaled through my side painfully

I snapped the young Persians spear like a twig he was genuinely scared for hs life i went for him he tried to slash me with his secondary war sickle but i blocked and attacked slashing at him crazily he blocked but i stabbed right through his shield he tried to push the blade away but i overpowered him and stabbed into his neck killing him as i limped back one of the hoplites told me to head to the command center were i could get patched up

i found out that both armies had fallen back to do another charge the Persians dragging away their dead i found 19 other hoplites and formed a phalanx

as both armies went to a full charge the persian side seemed thinner...just barely but thinner as we hacked and slashed into their army we hear a trumpet sound and the persian Cataphracts (heavy cavalry) arrived! all seemed hopeless...

HOLY ZEUS! GO into a square formation with spears pointed in front, keeping the HC a spears distance away. Then suddenly everyone hurls spear at same time and hopefully everyone has a standard Xiphos? and hack/slash at the persians.
