Dogs are great pets. Arguably the best but they're definitely great. Good companions I must say. Oh yes, I love dogs. I don't like violent dogs though.
I don't know. If you want disagreement you can try wandering off to a madhouse. Most of us here are rational. I've had bad experiences with violent dogs so I don't like violent dogs.
Gonna have to agree to disagree on that one. If you treat a cat right they will, my cat always jumps on my bed when I'm on the laptop and sits next to me or rubs his head against me when I'm watching tv. Dogs are just more needy, and want constant attention, cats can do without for a day while you work or go school, so you don't need to be home 24/7 either to walk it and all that.

Yeah dogs are the best by far in that sense, very clever and loyal animals, but for a pet if you work or have school all day, and nobody is home, I'd say a cat is better, cos you don't need to be home for it all the time, they really can take care of themselves.
I had a dog once, black Labrador, but when we left it at home for a few hours it chewed up the sofa and scratched up the walls, cos nobody was home for at least 7 hours, and it got bored I suppose, a dog is great for when you're older maybe and have more time to be in with it.
