Dogs are nice. They can be almost like a brother/sister. I don't want one though, because I hate the feeling it must be to have to part with it...(dogs have shorter life spans)
I've had two Great Pyrenees Mountain dogs since they were pups, one male and the other female. Both are very loyal, intelligent, and most importantly, potty trained. I recently got a German Shepard, still a pup and he already seems like he will grow up to be another great dog.
I think dogs do make the best pets, but that's just my opinion.
Cats are ridiculous, scratching post, litter box, special food, and they're not even all that friendly. Dogs on the other hand are awesome.
My cat is amazing then Eats only dry cat food, cheap, doesn't need a scratching post, shits outside and is really friendly too, even with strangers. All depends how you treat them

Yeah, and my cat just lays around all day. Eats dry food, but doesn't even know where's the litterbox.
