I don't have an xbox, and I don't have a ps3. I have a wii. Now before you start going "you're a noob wii sucks" let me explain. See, I can't afford an xbox or a ps3. And I like the wii. It's all I have, and I think it's fun. I understand that most games on the wii sucks large ones, but there's a few games that I enjoy. I own Call of Duty: world at war, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I also own Red Steel 2 (an 1800's shootergame), The Conduit (a halo - like shooter game), and Metroid: other M. I don't own any zombie games for the wii, but I am probably going to get Resident Evil sometime soon. I also pre-ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops for the wii. So what I'm trying to say here is that the wii doesn't completely suck.
I am in the same situation as you, however unfortunately that is all we share common ground on, I think wii sucks to be honest. Like you I have call of duty: waw, playing on multiplayer one of the most un-enjoyable things is trying to snipe on the wii. Although the M1 Garand Scoped isnât half bad Furthermore, when aiming down the sights the motion sensor makes things so inaccurate and slow for me to catch people running and frustration escalates to the extreme when I play a fps on wii. The only good thing to happen to the wii was MH Tri, which is extremely fun/ CC Pro is Pro xD. But beyond that even Mario kart and all those super smash bros which Nintendo capitalises on is does not stretch beyond a week or so of ecstasy before you realise why canât I get a proper game.

Nooo. Buy one of the House of the Dead's or Wii's Dead Rising. They're my favourite zombie games, and their Wii counterparts were not slagged off to badly by critics.

That might be another point he's trying to make? The Wii takes a very different approach to gameplay, it attempted to innovate gaming. Nintendo can't have done too bad, as Microsoft and Sony have quickly come down like vultures and started developing their own consoles revolving around motion detection gameplay.

If you like shooters on the Wii then look into the remake of 007: Goldeneye. The Classic Edition comes with a gold version of that controller, so you might want to look into the useful collector's edition.
It's just an input device. As long as the hardware isn't faulty, it should be active and usable in anything.

Just because the graphics chip isn't up to scratch, a lot of the gameplay isn't poor. Lots of advertising goes into shovelware instead of potentially reputable games. People don't realise that there are a lot of outstanding games on the Wii.
Besides, "big gamers" these days are generally the ones who can get a quickscope on MW2 . . . :-/
The Wii is a great family-fun or cartoon gaming system..but it isnt great for shooters..its like mario vs The Arbiter(mabye spelling is bad...alien dude from Halo) ...It all depends on the situation to see who will win...The people that diss the Wii and like CoD and Halo and usually are not very into the mario, anything is possible(xD) games...
but anything could happen...Arbiter could shoot mario with a crazy alien machine gun..or mario could just jump on him xD

I feel that it's just kind of interesting and serves as massive money grabs for nintendo. Frist off, when it came out, all the nintendo fanboys bought it wanting to play brawl and twilight princess (I am one of them), and then once the press started saying that it's "exercise" and "keeps kids active", it milked the approach of a fitness/motion sensor based console, which brought in all the non intense gamers to buy it, and now, as someone said, xbox and ps3 are trying to copy all that motion sensor stuff, because they realize that it brings in tons of consumers, which is kind of disappointing in my opinion, but hey, that's business.
