I know how this feels to be in gr.9 because I am in grade 9. I just want to know how do you feel in gr.9 and i wonder what the older grades think of us. I so far am having a great. HAVE YOU BEEN ENISHEATED?
This is why in High school, Seniors and Juniors get the better part of the locker room, while Freshman get the Cave; it is secluded from the rest of the school, so they can prattle on with their post-middleschool immaturity. No offense to you, 44Flames, you are probably not one of these guys.
The point is, while the rest of the class is adapted for highschool and the older folks are more equipped and mature, you have the underclassman that are still babied by their teachers and thus behave as such. Because we weren't taught well in middle school, we carry that example to post secondary school and in turn get hazed for it. Those that think clearly and maturely while staying in groups will not get hazed. Those that are active and contribute to the school will not get hazed. Those that are annoying, immature, and overall unfit against the upperclassman WILL get hazed.
As a college freshman, I would think that hazing would get worse, since you are practically alone in Class 3 education. Nah, it's not that at all (unless you are majoring in a sport), because you fit in with the rest of the crowd.
totally agree with you Pauler. Most Freshmen i've met are annoying/ weird. Some of them act like total idiots as well. I don't truly think that my class did anything like that freshman year. My favorite thing about freshmen, booing them at pep rallies
So I'm guessing you're a freshman ZeroComp. You're probably not in band though. But if you were, you'd have a little bit of a chance because there's these 2 freshmen I know from band and they're actually normal
I am not in band I play football, basketball, and baseball so I am quite popular but I am generally a nerd I enjoy programming and making new things with my computer
Nice, it's good to be an athlete in high school because you earn respect, but the freshmen football team at my school thinks they're better than the varsity team. My school is full of people who think they're amazing at everything though, so no surprise there.

And.... what is this supposed to mean? Being in band doesn't affect whether you're "normal". It's just the concepts of band that brings in the crowd.
In my highschool, it was: 1) geeks 2) jocks 3) rednecks 4)goths 5)preps 6) nerds
We were the smartest! We were still socially adept and good-looking! And we were also in band. You see, it does not matter where you fit in, so long as you are cool doing it.
A question for all of the seniors and older. Which year in High School was your hardest? I've heard Junior was but a my sister said Sophomore was? Any enlightenment?
