The UN is a useless failure. Their purpose is "resolving issues between countries through diplomacy before countries resort to military force and before conflicts escalate". They haven't resolved by themselves, not even one single issue.
Perhaps if several peaceful countries withdraw their membership in protest, they would be forced to change and become actually somehow useful.

The UN was founded by Americans in America and has its headquarters surprise-surprise in America, so yeah its hard for them to go, especially first.
