Well I have no idea whats in store for me but I think that the energy in our bodies keeping us alive and concious is released in some way or another. Perhaps part of that energy it released into the universe or mabye another dimesion. If thats to happen then what happens to us? Do we just wander around space forever or do we actually go and do something? Like create a world or some other form of life.

The electrical impulses interact with the physical constructs of our brain to produce the consciousness.
Think of it like a computer hard drive. it maintains all the information on it by magnetizing ferromagnetic material. The magnetic field alone is nothing. You strip it from the hard drive and all information is lost and the hard drive is useless. Our brains store and transmit information electrochemically. like how the hard drive uses magnetism our brain uses electrical impulses. The electricity alone isn't anything. If you strip it from the brain all information is lost and the brain is useless.

Even if our consciousness went on in some energy form, there would be no storage area for that energy so it would simply dissipate.
