sorry i just get annoyed when all the Chinese seem to care about are pandas instead of other animals. i went to a zoo in china by the way.
Hmm.. you're right, it's always an arbitrary decision which animal to save; pandas are a symbol for chinese so they want to save them because of that. But there are probably animals who have a higher "ecological value" than pandas, their sole problem is that they won't attract public interest so much than pandas. I really can understand your annoyance.
