people have been copying my question australia thread so some people and i decided to make one about any country. the country will be asked questions and someone from that country can answer.
I forgot to mention that the area attracts a lot of tourism||| and is harnessed for geothermal energy generation.
Well the first one, before the bolded 3 bars, is an independent clause, and because the area after it doesn't have a subject, then it makes the whole sentence compound and makes the second part for lack thereof a subject, refer back to the first subject.
The Taupo area attracts a lot of tourism. The Taupo Volcanic Zone is where most of the country's geothermal fields are located. These are utilised to produce geothermal energy.
Um...I'm not sure how to answer that considering we're a biligual country. We never gave up French. We still teach it in schools and Quebec is mainly a French or Francophone population along with several other smaller communities outside of Quebec.
Cause when France lost the war against England a couple hundreds of years ago Canada stayed English and when Canada was turning into an independent contrie it's government was English but the ppl in Quebec still talked French and when Canada was expanding it's government still was English
Oh for those of you wondering about Canada I will adress the stereotypes now:
We have paved roads We do not ride polarbears Hockey is awesome Winter is not all year round We do not live in igloos We do say eh We do have an accent we just don't like to admit it
