Indeed. I know you can vote and blah blah blah but the only people who control this country is the Pentagon and the CIA.

Did you even care to read our posts? Oh sorry. ALL of it?

The stuff the Senate and the House vote on is trivia little things.

I think the ban of 3rd-party downloads is pretty srs business. Oh and the eventual repeal of the new health care bill. Oh, and the constant battle between the rights of homosexuals. Oh, and the debates back and forth about what we feel about abortion and gun laws.

Oh by the way, the CIA and the Pentagon doesn't have the power to do this. You (should have) learned about the three branches of government in elementary school, plus a more in-depth discussion of it in a Government class in high school. They don't have the privilege to do so. They are Executive agencies run by the President, the head administrator. If the President ever so much as given them orders to mimic such behavior, he would be written up for impeachment faster than Nixon and Clinton combined.

The big stuff doesn't even come across the threshold of those two moronfests.

Good thing it's not. Just think if ANYONE could be a senator and representative. Hoo boy. News flash again. They are smart people. What you witness on the T.V. are the results of the events that transpired inside the courts.

All I'm saying is the common man doesn't control his country, or else the country would fail, miserably.

The United States is a representative democracy. We the People do not make the decisions, but WE THE PEOPLE ELECT THEM. WE have the power. Not them.
