It's "enlighten" not inlighten.
Well politicsâ"in my viewâ"is sort of pointless. Sure people argue about the your nation and how we can survive and etc. But half of the debates in politics are pointless.

Politics are a big game...a big childish game that can change the world, or not...at least the country. It's a dangerous game...

This applies only on Sweden, or many other countries if the same thing happens there.

Politics is the process of who gets what, when, and how.

If you take a certain topic, like schools, you may have a certain way of thinking of how schools can be better, whereas others may conflict with you. It is under this principle that suggests people just want the best for what they are giving to, and others just have conflicting answers.

*waves from Canada*

In my province, they're trying to oust the government because they brought on a sales tax they said they'd never consider implementing BEFORE THE ELECTION.

Then they decide it's a great idea after they're elected.

I hope they get ousted too. The BC Liberals have gotten away with too much. Our premier was arrested for drunk driving in Maui, even. In 2003. Only in Canada.

Politics are a bunch of idiots yelling at each other. Some idiots are smarter than the others. I call them Liberals. The system is completely based off of opinions.

At least that's how it is in America.

Well, politics isn't really all that hard. If you see some of the idiots that hold office today, you'd know.

Come on guys, these aare complete overstatements of how things are around here. You are thinking of the loud-mouth politicians that take things too extreme and end up on the news because of it. The rest of the 45 senators and the entire house of representatives don't really say much and aren't renowned, therefore, aren't represented on television. Are these guys idiots too? Maybe. Maybe not.

I can guarantee you though that these guys are smart people. What you see on the news are the results of what goes on in the courts. You don't get footage of the inside, unless something crazy goes on, like that one time with the health care bill. Give these people credit alright? They don't just do things on a whim, they work very hard and debate over every little detail.

Completely agree with you. I hate it when people say stuff like "all politicians are stupid".

It's the stupid partisan bickering and negative stuff you get in the news. Once the media puts something positive about politics is, people will say it's biased anyways. Society ftw.

i don't have anything against the politicians, but it just really ticks me off how they can't get anything DONE and won't stop bickering... right now unemployment levels aren't going anywhere, and there's a nice, dusty pile of problems that should have already been solved but they threw it to the side for later n forgot about it.

big one: illegal immigration. een what 40 years now and still not done???

Partisanship is nice to have. When the political system is mired in an endless battle that is definitely bad. Working together is good.
