Not very colorful, but how often do you see a bird born without wings?

my bro is half new Zealand but sadly i am not (my mum re married) so he's been there and he saw a few and said they looked cool

Interesting info I dug up. There are actually 5 distinct species of Kiwi bird, they are monogamous life mates, and they are relatives of the emu.

Aye Walker, it used to be believed that they were closely related to moas but it turned out that they are more closely related to emus.



The largest is a skeleton of a moa, second largest is an ostrich and then there's a kiwi.
