Not very colorful, but how often do you see a bird born without wings?

How old do kiwis get on average?

The numbers I'm getting aren't all too reliable.. Up to forty years, average 20-30.

Kiwis are cunning animals.
If I remember correctly they lay quite large eggs in relation to their body size.

Interesting info I dug up. There are actually 5 distinct species of Kiwi bird, they are monogamous life mates, and they are relatives of the emu.

Aye Walker, it used to be believed that they were closely related to moas but it turned out that they are more closely related to emus.

The largest is a skeleton of a moa, second largest is an ostrich and then there's a kiwi.

Kiwis are related to emus?
That's sorta weird...
The kiwi looks so small compared to ostrich and moa.
But, that kiwis are related to emus...

Were emus those birds, that live in Africa, and say "Bong, Bong"?
I heard one of 'em once repeating noices what sounded like some sorta kong or a drum.

Do kiwis make any noices? Or are they silent like bunnies?
