I'm a n00b because I just now got into Exit Path after all my friends are playing it, but it's a great game to play while on break; short multiplayer games, great replayability, easy-to-understand concept....
But there's a glitch that turns into a crash. If memory serves, it happens while in the game, during the race. Part of the start-up consists of having the entries of runners start at one point and quickly travel to the starting line, correct? In this glitch, they are all floating around, acting like they are competing after the game starts. THEY are all floating around while I'm normal, e.g. I'm fixed to the ground as it should be.
I just thought at first it was lag and that it would resolve itself after the connection got a little more juice. But then I got the little message in the corner that said "connection lost!". That prompted the user (me) to go to the main screen where it shows John's signature, where it flashes, then (is supposed to) fade to the main menu. This will continually flash again and again in a loop until I refresh the URL.
So. What am I supposed to manually do? Should I find rooms with less ping? Should I have a talk with my college's internet provider? Should I stop feeding the connection more juice? Because my laptop loves Welch's and I think she would be very upset if I stop giving some to her.
