this is just a thread to see who everyone thinks are the biggest musical influences off the 21'st century.
i dont really like her and im not a big fan of her music either, but ladyy gaga is deffinatly one of the biggest.
but overall..... jimmy eat world hands down is probably the best band of the 21'st century. i mean comeon, i think a good majority of people i know now that i didnt know 7 years ago listened to them when they were kids and ive grown up with them
They have some aspect of originality, but "quite" is too strong a word. They've had next-to-no stylistic impact if you look at alternative rock these days, but they'e popularized it a lot, causing a lot of commerical influence. If you look at other alternative bands these days, they're taking their influences from the same places Coldplay are, not from Coldplay themselves.
fall out could easily be the greatest influence in the rock genre of the 21'st century. they kinda really brought modern alternitive rock to a global scale and kinda made the modern rock the way it is. like i know this is going to sound like a dumb thing to say but what im trying to say isnt that they invented alternative... no janes addction did that, i mean they kinda brought modern alternitive rock to what it is today.
Rofl.. everything they inspire are shrieking freak fan girls and ways to make fun of Bill's sexuality :P I guess they're about as influential as Justin Bieber is in America, only a little bit better in musical terms..
