After seeing jdogg's animation thread, I decided to download Pivot and give it a try.
I'm new at this, but it turned out better than I had expected. If anyone wants to try to make a better one about anything, go ahead, and feel free to post the results here.
I don't remember where I downloaded Pivot, but you should be able to find it through Google. It's a simple and FREE program.
This animation didn't quite work out the way I had hoped, but here it is anyway.
I realize that it's a bit hard to see what's going on sometimes, so I'll describe what happens.
Stickman sees a lever. He knows he's not supposed to touch it, but he can't resist, so he decides to be sneaky by standing with his back against it and "accidentally" kicking it. Nothing happens when he kicks the lever. He gets disappointed, and tries to pull it back and forth. The lever breaks. Oh no! The room starts shaking. Oh no! He decides to ditch the lever and run. He then comes running by again. He's being chased by a bunny in a car. Oh no!
This one was done in 15 (or was it 16?) FPS. Wanted to see if there was any noticeable difference between it and 20 FPS. There was.
@Reton8: I'd suggest getting the Pivot 3.0 beta. It's simple and free. You can insert pictures from your computer into the animation by using the "Load Sprite" button, so you can still use GIMP for some nice, flashy special effects and fuzzy little killing machines, or whatever you want to use it for.
I definitely think you have some kind of natural ability for this. I used to spend hours on Pivot animations and the final product would still be a jerky, badly-animated piece of rubbish. If those are your first attempts, that seriously surprising, especially with how regularly you're producing these things.
I think, just to improve the animations slightly, you should download GIMP and do the backgrounds with that. The amount of tools and options you have over MS Paint would help the backdrops a lot, and you'd be surprised how much a well-made backdrops helps a good animation.

I'll check it out, but you gotta admit, MS Paint pictures have a certain kind of charm, eh?... Or do I just have bad taste?
No Paint, no gain!... But thanks for the advice, I'll probably get it tomorrow. I'm really tired today.
Here's an animation I call "Little Red Stickman and the Big Bad Stickwolf". Yes, that's supposed to be a wolf. What do you mean a tiger? That's totally a wolf...
It got a bit wide, in case the whole thing doesn't fit and it gets one of those scrollbars, I'll link it too. Most of it takes place in the left side of the animation anyways, so you should be able to see most of it even if it's too big...
Anyways, got a HUGE pile of dishes in my kitchen I need to take care of before they mutate into some sort of super-intelligent being hell bent on world domination. You're welcome.
@Reton8; I checked it out, looks very similar to pivot in all but one aspect. The "Push for the next frame"-button looks like it could speed things up a lot, since you can push it while moving the character. I might look into it more later.
@MoonFairy: Thanks, but just ignore Prometheus. He's just desperate for attention.
Okay, I downloaded Gimp like someone suggested, and made a background. Unfortunately, the only thing I can create so far is psychedelic nonsense, but I made an animation using it anyway.
in pivot you can click enter to use the next frame, you just need to have pushed it once and then not push the other buttons(like: edit, etc...)
Thanks for the advice. Tried it, and it works great.
Prometheus13, I never thought I'd agree with you about anything, but I actually do. The background was a quick test I did, and I didn't put much effort into it. However, the colours were much prettier before I saved it as a .gif. For some reason, Pivot's messing with my colors. Though, the .gif takes about half as much space as the .bmp, that might be why. Here's a link to how it looked before I .gif'd it.
Now, to the reason why I'm making this post.
I've always thought football (soccer, if you're American) is a really boring sport. Like, REALLY boring. So I was wondering if there was anything, except for alcohol, that could make it watchable. That's when I got an idea. What if football was played... BY NINJAS!
"Ninja Soccer", by iMogwai.
The flip was supposed to be slow-motion, but it didn't get slow enough...
