I like a few Christian bands...not because they're Christian, because I like their music. Demon Hunter is one of my fave bands, Skillet doesn't quite make the top ten but I still listen to them once in a while.

^Same here. Thousand Foot Krutch, for example, is a pretty good Christian band. Their songs rarely have anything to do with anything related to Christianity, though.
Christian country doesn't sound any different than normal country.
i also hate country adding a christan theme to a redneck song is the worst it's about getting drunk getting some hookers etc.,repenting rinse and repeat
This is a forum for those who like Christian metal. I dont like country, regardless of whether its Christian or not. Please talk about your favorite Christian metal bands. I've heard a few songs from Skillet. I'm especially fond of the track entitled "Hero"
I always enjoy listening to Pillar, especially the song Frontline and of course P.O.D., mainly the songs of the album 'Sattelite': Youth Of The Nation and Alive!
I also enjoy listening to Stryper! They are not actual 'Christian Metal', but more 'Christian Rock' from the 80's! Songs of them I like are Calling On You, Two Time Woman and Soldiers Under Command. Their music ROCKS! Can't say the same for their 'so-so' videos alas... :P
Bahh, Christian metal shouldn't even be called metal - it is a blight on the music industry. Most bands only slap the world 'Christian' in the description of their genre because they know the audiences will lap it up - especially in the Ol' US of Gay.
Well then you dont have to listen to it. Any other bands someone wants to recommend? I recommend Narnia. They're a swedish melodic metal band that isn't together anymore, but they made some great songs.
