Is it just me,or is Cartoonnetwork becoming lamo on making good,quality shows?Think about it-"Mad","Adventure Time","Regular Show",they're all so random.Not to mention another one coming out in a few weeks.The only epic shows that have come out this year are "Generator Rex","Unatural History",and the upcoming "Tower Prep"series.
Almost all animation has gone bad. I remember when in Canada fox kids was were it was at. Then it got cancer and died. I remeber all the good cartoons; Reebot (never did finish part of ytv), Dexters lab, Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain.
The Cartoon Network has lost much of its appeal.. Older shows were better.
Now all they care about is how many people watch the show and not if it's any good. Writers only care about making money and not quality shows.
It's just better to switch to anime and hope the plague doesn't spread.
Where the hell is Tom and Jerry? i used to watch that all the time. I even have a favorite episode, the one where Tom constructs a contraption of chain reactions including sail boats, fans, hammers, pool sticks, pulleys, and a mouse trap!
Not only does Cartoon Network practically altogether stink,there shows, like Total Drama Island, come from the specialty network in Canada that initially picked up Cartoon Network to run it's shows over there.
They used to have: Johny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, The Power Puff Girls, Cow and Chicken, I am weasel, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed Edd n Eddy, and Scooby Doo. Even later shows like My Gym Partner is a Monkey and Squirrel Boy weren't so bad.
And whatever happened to Toonami? It's gone. It had shows like Drangoball Z (Which has been reworked and is now being run on Nicktoons as Drangonball Kai. Oops! You lost that rights to air that show Cartoon Network.), Gundam Wing, Naruto (Which they lost to Disney XD. That's right Disney XD runs Naruto Shippuden, not Cartoon Netwrok.) and other shows that were on Toonami.
Even Adult Swim started going down hill. Aqua Teen Hunger Force started to suck after the 3rd season. They stopped running Futurama, Sealab 2021, Spaceghost, and others and replaced them with some really crappy shows (12oz mouse, A**y McGee, Xavier Renegade Angel) Although Adult Swim did pick up the slack and cut some of it's crappy shows and started running King of the Hill and other better shows.
