The World Series starts on Wednesday, October 27th, 2010 7:57pm ET. Giants vs Rangers. I would've liked Giants vs. Yankees but I guess it wasn't meant to be. That doesn't mean it won't be an interesting game. After all, the Giants beat the Phillies as favorites. :P
It's kind of obvious which side I'm rooting for...

well the giants destroyed the rockies fair and square and i personally dont hate either team but i guess i my respect for the freak will allow me to root for the giants.
i couldnt have asked for a better world series out of this years playoff.... cause i HATE the yankees, i HATE the red sox, i HATE HATE HATE the phillys.

I'm kinda neutral on the WS. I'm a Yankee fan at heart, but I didn't really care if the Rangers beat them in the ALCS. I'm actually leaning towards the Rangers because they have a really good lineup and they have Cliff Lee, who I have the utmost respect for. Even if he pitched for the other team every visit to Yankee Stadium, I've never seen any pitcher handle the pressures of pitching in Yankee Stadium better than he did.
I don't really care who wins. I like it when two teams who I have never seen in the world series make it. I think that the Rangers are going to win because they have excellent pitching and great offense.
If the Giants have made it this far, they surely should be able to win this thing.
The same goes for the Rangers, but I refuse to be optimistic about them. Why be optimistic a team that plays almost halfway across the country when you can be optimistic about a local team just a couple miles away?

Screw the Yankees. I'm glad they're out. Shows that you can spend $150000000 more than the other team, but that doesn't mean you can buy yourself a win.
And that's the reason why I hate my favorite team. They trade young talent for old players who are way past their primes, AKA Javier Vasquez, and then fans without brains, unlike me, think they are going to have a great season. I knew Vasquez was gonna suck, and they traded a future lefty ace for him... No wonder why there was a play called Damn Yankees.
