This for sure is my favorite series. The satire is brilliant. I usually have a few in my house at any given time.
My other favorite books would have to be those written by Harry Turtledove. He writes pretty amazing alternate history stories that are quite accurate.
The books we were required to read in school, were actually quite good. Unfortunately when you have lots of other homework you don't really enjoy the books as much as you could.
