I was hoping I wouldn't like this show because let's face it, it's just another zombie story. I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see if the husband was going to shoot his wife while telling his son to stay downstairs, good stuff! I hated the scene where the sheriff has to sacrifice the horse. That was a total "bone head" moment that wasn't necessary except to make me mad. >.<
I haved seen it but they advitised it in my TV guide. Its sounds pretty cool but i hate stuff with a lot of gore in so i wont watch it. Plus its on FX which i dont have.
I really enjoyed it, the comics are great and the TV show follows the general jist of the comics which keeps me guessing as they do not play out as the comics, over all a easy 8/10 I cannot wait for the next episode.
Yeah, Darkness is right. I think it will be a progresive show though. Just like all AMC television series it will be fantastic in the long run. So far it is no where near as awesome as Breaking Bad.
I like the initial episode, though I missed the 2nd one today. I think the story will revolve more about the livings' interaction. What human survival means to each character. I love anything zombie.
New episode tonight, can't wait. I love it - the problems, the people, the solutions they create. My favorite part so far is when they beat the crap out of the zombie corpse and rubbed the blood all over them so they couldn't be detected, then it rained... I'd freak. Can't wait to see what happens this episode.
I actually like this series. I think its more realistic than some of the zombie movies that I've seen. I think there also some good tense moments in the show. Like the man with the snipers upstairs trying to get the nerve to shoot his wife, and when the black guy had to decide whether or not to free the redneck handcuffed on the roof.
