You know what I think, Mythbusters, every one episode was fun. ) I Just learned about the show last year, and I realized that it is still sorta fun till now.
I think that the myths the test aren't usually up to interpretation. It does seem however, that some myths are more easily testable than others. So one myth will get some really conclusive proof, while another myth will have week spots and probably could have been test more, but due to restraints like money time or that it would need more people to test accurately) the myth gets a "rushed" conclusion. Great show though!
i saw one episode of myth busters when they made a cannon out of nothing but leather! unfortunatly when they fired it the cannonball came out but the cannon fell to pieces
While the Mythbusters do have areas of weakness I generally find they do a decent job testing most myths. Some of their weakness lies in how they go about testing the myth. For instance hiring a professional driver while testing if smoke screen and oil slicks work for escaping pursuit.
They are restrained by time, money, resources, and how many people they have to test a myth. Most of the time they have more time, money, resources, and people then a small group of people (or possible universities and students). So the Myths they test are test pretty well and it's like it's primary goal is scientific research (although it is a result sometimes).
Really? How many ways can you interpretation a giant ball of Lego rolling down a hill?
They are restrained by time, money, resources, and how many people they have to test a myth.
I agree but they do a good job of using they money they have and time efficiently and they have never complain about resources. The only bad thing is that Adam and Jamie do all the fancy and interesting myths while the others do the more boring ones. I don't feel like they are their abilities to the fullest sometimes.
