"The Grass is greener on the other side"

This one makes no sense.

Digram:

Green Grass 1 --- Green Grass 2
Me

If I'm at Green Grass 1 (GG1), then Green Grass 2 (GG2) is greener.

Green Grass 1 --- Green(er) Grass 2
Me

Therefore, I go to G(er)G2.

Green Grass 1 --- Green(er) Grass 2
Me

However, GG1 now appears to be greener, so I go over their.

Green(est) Grass 1 --- Green(er) Grass 2

I then get stuck in a loop of constantly swithing sides, entering into an infantisimal loop.

Fin.

That annoys me alot. You don't learn new things EVERY day.Sometimes it might be a month before you learn something new!

Well, today I learnt that you don't like that saying. I reckon you probably do learn something every day.

I hate it when people say "We'll play it by ear".

It pisses me off to no extent.

I beleive it makes sense; not in a literal way, but in a symbolic way
It is a statement about human nature:

We, being humans, tend to always want to have the one thing that we don't have, and not be thankful for the things we do have.

The grass on the other side represents the thing(s) we do not have, and it appears to be much better (greener) than the thing(s) (grass) we already have on our side.

Prove it

I used to say it all the time but then I stopped for a while and now when someone says &quotrove it" I get a bit annoyed.

I hate it when people talk and they say 'like" in every single sentence after ever single word. It's really annoying just get to what your going to say don't keep adding words!

One phrase i hate is when people say, "when I say jump you say how high." It should be, "when i say jump, you jump your highest." Theres no time to question, even if it is to find out whats expected. you jump your highest and give your BEST

"I KNOW YOU ARE, BUT WHAT AM I?!?!?!?"
