my school just seems normal and boring. I forget about the rules so it doesn't bother me.

My school's regulations make sense to me.. Then again, I'm a reasonable person when it comes to education.

I don't bother remembering the rules word for word. All I do is avoid conflict as much as possible and execute my work to the fullest of my abilities.

The only rule I didn't understand when I was in high school and below was the "no caps/hats in class"-rule. It felt quite unnecessary. The fact that some teachers didn't even care if you followed it or not just added to that feeling. Aside from that, all the rules more or less made sense to me.

in my school there used to be a no sandals rule. i didn't understand why but they got rid of the rule. i don't really care about it since i don't wear sandals.

The rules might not sound logical to you because you probably don't understand why or what the rules try to impose and prevent. But they wouldn't be there if they had no purpose, you probably just don't understand it.

All I do is avoid conflict as much as possible and execute my work to the fullest of my abilities.

Yep pretty much the best way to go.

-"Don't listen to your ipod in the classroom." So what people do it anyhow and the teachers really don't care unless they're talking
-"Because I said so!" That is actually a rule. If a teacher tells you to do something don't ask. I get introuble for this all the time due to I embarress the teachers infront of the class since they don't know what to say
-"Don't leave the classroom unless told to" Someone almost got sick all over the floor and the teacher said before he left 'where do you think your going?' and as he turned around barf was sepping out the side of his mouth as he attempted to swollow it to say 'I'm getting sick I need to go!' and the teacher said 'What do you say?' and as he replyed he had tears in his eyes and asked so nicely as she then excused him the second he puked.
-"Don't sleep" How are you suposed to learn anyhow if you can't focus? Even if they are still awake he wouldnt be able to pay attention since theyre sleep deprived.
-"Bring for to class, just don't eat it" What is the point of bring food to class if you cant eat it!?!!?!
-"FYI: You must attend!" We have this thing called 'freshman year information' and if you miss it once you get detention. It is pointless they don't even tell you stuff you need to know for freshman year. And it takes up half your lunch period!

-And this can go on, but I wont let, so those are some stupid rules at my school.

I absolutely hate my school's policy on fighting. Even if you don't fight back you will get in trouble. One time a kid got sucker-punched and instantly knocked out, and guess what, he got in as much trouble as the kid who punched him! And some faculty wonder why students don't trust them for anything.

the rule i dont like is the tardy policy at my school..
after 1st one is a warning, 2nd one is 30 min detention, 3rd one is hour detention and 4th one is a 3 day suspension.. which doesnt make any sense to me.. it seems kinda extreme to me

I it that hard to come on time? It's almost like a life lesson if your late for an appointment or an interview the repercussions are far worse.

well suspension is taking them out of classes and getting them behind, and usually for interviews, they probably will give you like a couple minutes of leeway...

I think what you are forgetting is that when you are late for class you are creating extra work for the teacher, as well as delaying everyone else in the class. Such a hefty consequence is likely to serve as a deterrent. Think about it this way. If every day someone is 5 minutes late, that's 25 minutes per week that you are losing in educational time. Multiply that by how often you have class, and how many classes you have.

and usually for interviews, they probably will give you like a couple minutes of leeway...

I don't know where you are from, but around here they won't. And even if they will still take the time to interview you, an easy 7 times out of 10 they won't hire you simply because you were late. So get used to being early, or being unemployable.
