No I have not. Or I don't remember any. Either way it depends on your definition of "miracle".

Not to me, but something wonderfully inexplicable has happened which has drastically affected my life.

I've never seen a miracle, perhaps because I don't believe in them?

Well some of you that have been on my profile in the past month or so know that 4 of my friends were in a car accident and that 2 of them died. The driver survived with only a few neck injuries and the other was on the verge of dieing. He was airlifted to a hospital and was under constant induced comas. They would bring him back so he would breathe by himself every once in a while, then would have to put him in a coma again. It took him quite a while to finally recover from the accident. Two of the friends dieing was horrible, but the other two that lived was a miracle.

So knight, going to expand on that or just grab my attention?

The epilepsy I was suppose to have for life went away. Wait I can explain that as a misdiagnosis due to a lack of understanding at the time and there are cases of epilepsy in children going into remission thanks to the brain still developing.

So I guess that doesn't count.

Im not certain that there isnt a direct corolation between what is a "miracle" and what is simply good old fashioned good luck. I know, i know...ive read the stories of amazing unexplained healings and rescues that defy explaination, however, I cannot dismiss the fact that such things could be cases of extremely lucky circumstances.

I could be wrong, but that is my take on it

Well, if I don't speak up, then no one else will. Speaking in tongues, healings, prophecies...I have seen and heard miracles with my own eyes. I've spoken with people who have performed miracles in front of witnesses, and heard their testimonies. Things that cannot be explained by the rational, they do exist, and they have happened.

I'm guessing you mean faith healing?

My father had a nasty ruptured cerebral aneurysm. By the time it was discovered he was already a victim of acute subarachnoid haemorrhage. Suffered from a mild stroke during the procedure to patch him up.

At least he's alive still. If he did die...

MageGreyWolf, you made my day with that article.
I had heard of that scandal and know that, though Popoff was caught, there are a million scams using religion out there still, (my personal favorite is the "healing kerchief", a little blue square of silk that costs $100 and is worn on the afflicted area.)
I am all for the power of suggestion. If it makes you feel better to think that some great diety is taking time out of his great cosmic schedule to kill your corns or cleanse your caterats, thats fine. However, I take offense to miracle healers and the like that scam scared, lonely people out of their money.

When I say miracles, I don't mean walking on water; I just meant something that was so close to going wrong but didn't.
