When a topic gets locked, does it eventually get deleted? I remember asking this a bit ago, and the answer was that yes, spam topics get locked and deleted, but dead posts are just left to die. In light of this, Ive noticed a few decent topics recently getting locked because they were dead (or maybe due to other reasons Im unaware of?) and I was thinking it might be unfair to those who created/responded to these topics to lose their points..

Ahh! Thank you for the answer. I thought the deletion was an automated thing, such as a topic locked for two weeks wil automatically disappear. Thanks for clearing that up )
I am pretty sure a mod could do alot of things if they wanted to, but sometimes you might need to persuade a mod to unlock a thread. The point is just to talk about the process of some threads that die.
