The aliens were giants compared to humans.


I was referring to the story of aliens building the pyramids...

He said that giants built the pyramids, you refereed(not sure about spelling on that) to aliens building them. So why can't the aliens have been giants?

They wanted to help without sharing technology? or maybe they didn't bring the tools necessary to build a stone pyramid.

It wouldn't be to hard to pretend it was just magic, hell I could do it. And why would it have to be stone? Having the people build a giant steel pyramid would be even more interesting. And there is still the issue of them never showing up in Egyptian paintings (Or for that matter any of the other pyramid builders)

That one can be debated. I think it was a mayan guy that has the tomb cover that looks like a rocket.

Animal headed, barley larger than human, gods? The animal that he has ANY fossil record at all would look more like a large guerrilla, would walk on all fours, and have a typical ape head (Only the jaw was found, which completely excludes the animal headed gods of the Egyptians -_-)

Can I see the picture? I would assume from this vague description that it was probably corn. It is kind of the same shape, I guess...

Its not corn, but what it is for sure is hard to know. And if you can find his name(i'm drawing a complete blank) you will find that he was a giant(within reason, when compared to the average person), and that his tomb is offlimits.

What was the average height of the Mayan? Actually about the average of today. So how tall was this guy, six feet? That isn't the 13 cubits we are looking for.

Now can someone explain to me how that looks like a rocket? To me it just looks like a guy is ripping the head off something... The man is famous for his architect, apparently. He is probably building something.

In the center of that frame is a man sitting, bending forward. He has a mask on his nose, he uses his two hands to manipulate some controls, and the heel of his left foot is on a kind of pedal with different adjustments. The rear portion is separated from him; he is sitting on a complicated chair, and outside of this whole frame, you see a little flame like an exhaust.


Thats the best explanation I can find, it came from the wiki page I linked earlier.

Just so people know this roughly translates into 23 feet tall (7.0104 meters)

I looked at your wiki page earlier. Turns out that picture is a lot easier to see vertical.

But the wiki page also says

Von Däniken's claim is not considered a credible interpretation by any professional Mayanist. For example Ian Graham responded, "Well I certainly don't see any need to regard him as a space man. I don't see any oxygen tubes. I see a very characteristically drawn Maya face"[3]

The more likely event is the other one described on the wiki page.
