:O I was gonna say earlier it would take a lot to take out a Barbarian...
bu then again, Goliath doesn't have the same alcohol-vulnerable flesh the rest of us have...
hmmm...
Yeah lets just go with the Barbarian, if he loses n his completely KO'd then we won't be missing anybody since shadow isn't here.
ok, I need a decision, WHO is going to accept the challenge?
ok the Barbarian accepts the drinking contest challenge.
Dwarven Leader: Alright, here's how it works, we drink till we drop. the first round we will drink something you are more familiar with...(*said with disgust*)"Elven" Wine
Dwarven Leader: Not bad "Elf", but now we move on to the harder stuff. (I can't remember the name of the drink and can't find it in any of my books, but it's the equivalent of Vodka)
I down some water to try to wash down the alcohol, then go see how the Manticore is doing....
Oops, I was ninja'd.
The Paladin crosses his legs and observes the drinking contest with mild interest. He orders a drink of water, and might strike up a conversation with the waiter or waitress if the contest goes on for too long. Who knows, they might know something. The Paladin has sworn off drinking, and therefore finds it boring.
Alright
(Round 2, sound of dice rolling)The "Vodka" is passed around and the competitors take their drinks, The Barbarian starts to pick up the pace and chugs his drink with relative ease(no damage). The Dwarf is still holding his own and looks like he could go on for a while(3 nonleathal).
Well, I see you are still standing, "Elf", let's see how you handle "Mushbug"(Tequilla w/worm equivilant)
Dwarven Leader: I gotta say Elf, I'm impressed you lasted this long, but now we get serious. BREAK OUT THE DWARVEN ALE!!!
Hyperion will start to chat with the bartender or waitress or whatever.
Moving on...
(Round 4, sound of dice rolling) The Dwarven Ale is one of the most commonly availible drinks that can easily KILL a man. Only the experienced and strong drinker dare to drink it. The Barbarian looks a little nervous, but cannot back down now, so he reluctantly takes a swig, and it actually isn't as bad as he was expecting, but it still singes the hair off his face(10 nonleathal). The Dwarf, having had this drink on many occasions, manages his own, but he is obviously feeling his drinks(11 nonleathal). both competitors are still standing, it's UNBELIEVABLE!
Dwarven Leader:*slurred* well, i gesh we ave no choysh, brig ot te THAYVIAN FIREJUICE!!!(equivilent of EVERCLEAR)
The Paladin shrugs and drinks his water. He stands and continues to watch the contest impassively, although with more interest than before.
"If the Barbarian wishes to quit the contest...he is free to do so," Hyperion adds finally.
