halo isnt skill. halo is jump a lot shoot at them and melee. the extreme armor also gives those that are hit first the opportunity to jump and kill the other person which takes out the 'surprise' element and throws it all into whoever jumps the most.

bah! then why is the most used gun in Halo Reach multiplayer the mid-to-long range DMR, if all that CQJ (close quarters jumping) is occuring? besides that, halo isn't about surprise, it's about the skirmishes, a homage to fencing, 3 touches, you lose. In halo, five shots, you lose. If you're stupid enough to let the enemy hit you enough times before you can sprint off, armor lock, or drop a shield, you deserve to die.

btw, jumping isnt too common, as control in air is limited and the actual momentum makes a slow jump. Easily exploitable with a backstab. it doesn't happen anymore, the community has evolved away from that behavior.

Halo is more about knowing where to be and when to be there. COD is about Map knowledge, gun skill, teamwork(In competitions), and just plain hand/eye coordination. So my vote is for COD.

teamwork(In competitions)

I think that teamwork is more important in Halo.

If you get a buttload of kills in Halo all by yourself, with a not-very-good team, then there's higher chance that your team will lose.

On the other hand, if you do the same thing in CoD, then there's a higher chance that your team will win.

I think it's because that in CoD, you'll usually get your killstreaks to do a lot of work, while in Halo, there are no killstreaks.

It's not just teamwork in competition in Halo, it's teamwork in general.

COD
Why?
COD lets you...
-Learn events more historical than Halo
-Better storylines
-Does Halo let you kill Zomnies dawn to dusk? No. I didn't think so.

While this may be true, even in competitions, teamwork is a rarity.

Killstreaks are to COD, as vehicles are to Halo.

I have never seen actual teamwork in Halo, the only teamwork I see is "Get in the driver seat of my Wart hog so I can kill wh ore from the turret."

Vehicles aren't present on all Halo maps, mostly the medium-large to large ones.

But some vehicles are overpowered. Mostly the Scorpion.

I have never seen actual teamwork in Halo, the only teamwork I see is "Get in the driver seat of my Wart hog so I can kill wh ore from the turret."

There is a such thing as teamwork in all team-based games, even though it may be rarer in some games than others.

I had to laugh at this

1. Ermm, it's fiction, both of them are. CoD has very little basis in reality and seriously if you want historical information in a game try Age of Empires II

2. Read the Halo storyline.
