this is just a topic that I'm curious about.... call it a social experiment if you must label it. I would like to ask that for all those who are willing... would you please tell me your ideal family. would you be married? is there a specific number of children you would like to have? do you even want either? if so... what genders and when, if any, would you prefer? ...or do you care?

I personally would like to end up with a wife and at the minimum... 2 kids... one of each gender... but i wouldn't be upset if 2 or 3 or more just kind of "happened". I don't have a preference for the birth order of the children

I guess I claim a first here:

I want no wife, no kids, a job as a pharmacist, and a 2/3 story house in Florida.

I wanted no wife, no kids, a single room dwelling, a really nice car and enough electronic equipment to brown out Cleveland.

I got a wonderful wife, an awesome daughter, a duplex that's half income property, an econobox, a decent TV and this computer.

Sometimes what you don't know you want things until you have them and sometimes you realize what you want isn't.

I'd like to have a beautiful wife that has the same culture as me. That's intelligent and curious like me so that we could have long conversations on diverses topics and that is caring and the mothering type. Of course she will be a good cook and a good cleaner and of course I will help here. I'd like to have two or three kids. And maybe have an apartment in the mountains for the summer and one in the city for the winter.

My ideal family is a wife with one or two kids, preferably a boy as the older. One of each gender would be nice.

My wife would be smart and all of those other qualities that people have mentioned.

That's what I want my family to be like.

I would want a wife in the medical field, who doesn't mind moving around, 2 boys and a myriad of houses(I like real estate.)
